A Bulgarian-Hungarian joint team (including 6 researchers) conducted fieldwork in the Rila Mountains between June 1 and June 6, 2025. The main goal was to identify and sample moraine deposits on the northern side of the mountains. The exposure age of the samples collected during the fieldwork will be determined using cosmogenic radionuclides dating methodolody. This program focused primarily on the Beli Iskar and Cherni Iskar valleys and their tributaries. Excellent early summer weather conditions facilitated sample collection from valley foothills to cirques.
